• Know the location of all safety equipment on board
• Follow proper anchoring procedures
• Monitor fuel and water levels regularly
• Always paddle with a buddy system
• Wear appropriate clothing for water temperature
• Check kayak for leaks and proper inflation
• Complete a jet ski safety course before riding
• Never ride jet skis at night
